Hello again

My name is Alex McMillan. I'm a twenty-something maker of games and puzzles who enjoys making people ponder. I've been writing quizzes for the last several years, and I've been making games almost my whole life. I'm currently working in TV, as well as tinkering away at many other freelance projects.

I design games like this ↬

With the rest of the team at Shallow Sky Studios, I have designed smartphone games such as Wordloaf and Defuser. I continue to work on video games, and have also branched out into card games and tabletop. I also love making stuff with in-game editors, such as Mario Maker.

I founded the Queens' Quiz Society in late 2015 and have been writing and hosting quizzes ever since. My pride and joy, Telequizion, is a pub quiz consisting of 6 rounds, each inspired by a different gameshow. I've also written quiz questions for shows such as Lateral, Mysterious Monsters, Only Connect and Mastermind.
